TIG welding of stainless steel

TIG welding is generally used in a thin plate of stainless steel and aluminum, but can also be used for steel. Stainless steel TIG welding, one of our specialties, is a welding process that achieves a very high quality of welding.

TIG; Tungsten Inert Gas

TIG is the abbreviation for Tungsten Inert Gas, but is also called GTAW, which stands for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding. Loosely translated into Dutch, Tungsten means 'tungsten'. Very high welding quality can be achieved with TIG welding. However, it is also considered a difficult form of welding, because the filler material must be added manually. The welder always needs two hands for this.
